Mother's Day 2015 - Taylor's Baptism

Mother's Day this year was fantastic!  A few weeks ago, Taylor accepted Jesus as her Savior and the church was able to schedule her baptism for Mother's Day morning!  She was so excited. (I have to admit, I was excited too!)

I love that she was looking out into the audience to find her Daddy and brother!

 

Pastor Carl was asking her if she had asked Jesus to save her and she was saying, "Yes, sir."

 

Buried with Him through Baptism...

Raised to walk in newness of Life!

 



So proud of my little girl's decision!  My momma heart thought it was about to burst at this point and the tears started overflowing!  I helped her get her robe off and wrapped her in a towel and when we got to the changing room, I gave her the biggest hug I could muster. 

 

I pray that Marcus and I will be able to guide her in her walk with Christ and train her to be His servant and love Him with all of her being!  The weight of this responsibility is so humbling, but one that we know God has equipped us to do through Him!
